CAC Family,
As many of you may be aware, we have had several individuals and families in our congregation test positive for COVID-19 this past week. Pastor received a call from the Licking County Health Department and informed him of this fact, as well. As part of the Health Department’s process, they asked Pastor to describe CAC’s precaution protocols to minimize the spread of COVID-19. After Pastor explained our various protocols, the Health Department approved of the various measures we have been implementing, determined that there was no need to close the church, and indicated that we could continue to have services in the same manner in which we have been operating.
Although we are excited that we have been approved to continue having services as usual, because many of our core leaders and service support individuals are currently required to quarantine due to possible or confirmed exposure to COVID-19, we have decided that we will not host in-person services this Sunday (10/18) or Wednesday (10/21). Instead, Pastors will broadcast a short service Sunday morning at 10AM from home. Following that live broadcast, we encourage you and your family to watch a previously uploaded service together so that you can feel more like you are in a regular service. We will not have any livestream during our PM worship time, but, again, we encourage you and yours to watch a previously uploaded service. To view a list of past services, see our archive here: http://cacnewark.org/media/media-library.
While we know 2020 has been a trying year, we have seen God continue to move in our church, in our community, and across the globe! We know that what the enemy meant for evil, God can use for good. We will get through this season of difficulty as a family, and we will come out stronger and ready to fight! Continue to pray for each other and those affected by the virus, and stay encouraged.
Lord bless and our love!

What's next for CAC?
Due to the recent announcement by Gov. Mike DeWine and our Ohio Health officials, group sizes have been limited to 10 or less in the state of Ohio until further notice. This essentially nullifies our ability to assemble physically, as a joint group in the Body of Christ, in a signle location. We have closed the building to general access. To that end, we will be transitioning to a virtual/digital format for services. What does that completely mean? At this time, we do not know all that it will encompass, but will keep you up-to-date thorugh as many channels as possible. While we understand this will pose challenges, not only for those conducting the service, but for those viewing, we are confident that the Lord will continue to move and His spirit will be poured out. We are exploring additional ways to stay engaged with each of you, not only with those through technology, but those that may not be as familiar or have access to this medium. If you are able to connect with individuals that fall into the later category to share this information it will be greatly appreciated to ensure we are keeping as many apprised of the most accurate and timely information.
Additionally, if you would like to stay up-to-date on information and communications, please email cac.newark.general@gmail.com to be added to our communication strings and keep your contact information accurate.
